You can participate in prompts to earn Shards (⬥) and other rewards. You may view your Shard inventory here.
You must be in the Auspicium Discord server.
You can complete each of these prompts once a month to receive Shards.
All prompts must be posted on some public platform, such as dA, Tumblr, Bluesky, or Toyhou.se (publicly viewable).
Unless otherwise specified, the Entity(ies) depicted must be in their main form or a recognizable alternate form with their core characteristics intact. See Design Guide for design requirements.
Please submit prompts to Ecliptic Prompt Submissions in the species-submissions forum of the Auspicium server.
You can spend Shards in the Shard Store.
Here is a general form for submitting prompts, which can be used unless a different form is specified:
Prompt: (name of the prompt)
Characters: (links to characters featured)
Submission/Link: (link to public post; optional to attach)
You may transform an Angel or Demon that has been accepted into the Ecliptic world into an Oscuraph or Lumion. To do this, you must complete a Journey, which is a set of art and writing prompts that you must complete in a sequence.
You may do Part 1 and 2 together, but otherwise, you must have my approval before further progressing to the next step.
Please make your submissions to Ecliptic Prompt Submissions in the species-submissions forum of the Auspicium server with the following form:
Prompt: Transformation Journey
Part:
Entity TH Link:
Entry: (attach)
Parts 1, 2, and 4 will also earn you 100 Shards, for a total of 300 Shards.
You have two options for completing parts 1, 2, and 4; you do not have to do the same format for all of them:
Art + Blurb
full or partial body
fully colored and shaded
scene background
include a written blurb (description, dialogue, story snippet, or other flavor text) of 100 words
Writing
1000 words
What does your Angel/Demon do day to day? What are they like?
Demonstrate what your Angel/Demon normally does.
What brought your Angel/Demon to the Twilight? Was it their own nature, or did they make a conscious choice? Was it gradual or a matter of moments?
Demonstrate what pulled your Angel/Demon to the Twilight, and/or how they came to be transformed.
Now, you must get the design of your new Oscuraph/Lumion. If the original design is by Auspice, you can commission them to alter the original artwork for 20 USD, or you can alter the artwork or draw from scratch yourself. If you draw them from scratch, the design must be clean, can be rendered/shaded or flat, and it can have a background or not. Regardless, you must have the design approved by Auspice.
NOTE: Even after approving the design, it is not official until you complete the Journey. You may not post the design publicly except on TH, and you cannot ask/commission others to draw it.
Your character is transformed. What do they do now? Demonstrate how your new Oscuraph/Lumion reacts to their new identity.
After part 4 is approved, your Oscuraph/Lumion is official! Auspice will update the masterlist with the Ecliptic design. Note that the Oscuraph/Lumion design is subject to the CS terms. If you sell/trade/otherwise transfer the Oscuraph/Lumion, you must include both the original and Ecliptic designs.
This prompt can be completed once per person per Entity. You are still free to change your Entity's info/lore afterwards; this is just for submitting as a prompt.
You may only submit if the character originates from the Ecliptic universe and canon with the Ecliptic lore. However, they do not need to remain in the Ecliptic universe.
Create a profile for your Entity with the following information:
Name:
Species:
Element:
Magic Color:
Gender:
Pronouns:
Height/Size: (Number, comparison (e.g. human-sized, dog-sized), and/or screenshot of a height chart.)
Alignment: (Ordained, Autonomous, or Rogue; see here)
Dates: (e.g. year of formation, year of transition to Ecliptic state)
Location: (Ecliptic universe/specific plane, or somewhere else)
(Minimum 60 words)
(Can describe their skill with certain Ecliptic abilities and/or describe their elemental magic)
(Minimum 500 words, recommended up to 1500 words but not a strict limit. Can involve existing Entities and other characters if you wish, yours or others' with permission. See History if they are involved in the Ecliptic universe.)
(Optional, can include blurbs of ~100 words discussing relationships with other characters. 100 word minimum for relation bonus)
You can either put it directly on your Entity's TH profile, or you can submit this as a Google Doc with comment permissions first—but after approval, please add it to your Entity's TH profile.
You can look at the lore character profiles or the Development Prompt Examples for examples.
Tip: for seeking and discussing relations, you can make a post in species-forums.
