Here is a quick reference/guide for designing your own Entities.
Base color refers to the color(s) of general parts of their body. It can be made of various materials and have various textures (e.g. bone-like, satin, metal, etc.). In general, it shouldn't glow except for Angels.
Base color can have a slight hue tint, but it should be subtle. It's preferred for the tint to match the magic color, but not necessarily. Reiarch, for instance, has purple-tinted lines for their segmentation, but it is not nearly as prominent as the yellow of their magic. Jhaku has dark brown tints that match with its gray-brown magic color.
Magic color refers to the color of highlights on their body and their magic (including wings for Angels and Lumions). Generally, it glows and/or ignores lighting.
There can be slight variations in hue/shade but not to the extent of being a different color. Faeliel's magic color, for instance, has gradient shades but is still distinctly "light blue."
As the species does not have strict traits, you may be asked to adjust a MYO's appearance to better match the species aesthetic. This is somewhat flexible and can be discussed, but looking at official designs in the species gallery may help to get a feel for the species. Here are a few common points:
Generally abstract/simple designs, not overly complex and not closely matching biological anatomy in proportions or shapes.
Technology theming is permissible if subtle, but technology is not natural to Entities so their natural appearance should not be excessively cyber-like.
You can see the Oscuraph gallery for examples.
At least one halo (can be any shape)
A main, prominent halo must be cracked or fragmented, giving the impression of being broken/shattered
more halos can be added; secondary, less prominent halos can be whole
Wings made of pure black feathers (hex #000000 in color)
Slight shading and outlines for visibility are fine
If they have hair, it must be black in main form
Armored (plated, scaled, segmented, and/or carapace-like) parts
Horns
Color palette:
Base color: Black/dark gray (can have slight hue tint)
Magic color: a color that contrasts with the base color (if base color has a hue, preferred to match hue of base)
Primary humanoid and/or abstract form
Robe-like body
Should appear like part of the body rather than like clothes worn over the body
Claws
Name ending in "-el"
Additional non-feathered wings like those of Demons
Eyes, can be floating and/or numerous
They can have alternate forms that:
Must retain black wings, halo(s), and color palette
Must show Demonic horns and armored parts in non-abstract forms
Can be humanoid, abstract, creature-like, etc.
They can also have "disguise" forms without supernatural traits to appear as a mundane creature, or other shapeshifted forms that do not follow all the required characteristics of their primary form.
Multiple hues for magic colors
Black/dark magic color with low contrast from base color
Non-black feathered wings
You can see the Lumion gallery for examples.
At least one halo (can be any shape)
Wings made of feathers of light with their magic color
Horns
Armored (plated, scaled, segmented, and/or carapace-like) bodies
Some parts can be smooth, furred, feathered (without feathered wings), etc.
Color palette:
Base color: Very dark or black (can have slight hue tint)
Magic color: a color that contrasts with the base color (if base color has a hue, preferred to match hue of base)
Primary creature form (rather than being humanoid or abstract)
Name without actual meaning (not using an existing word)
Additional non-feathered wings like those of Demons
Tail(s)
They can have alternate forms that:
Must retain light wings, halo(s), and color palette
Must show Demonic horns and armored bodies in non-abstract forms
Can be humanoid, abstract, creature-like, etc.
They can also have "disguise" forms without supernatural traits to appear as a mundane creature, or other shapeshifted forms that do not follow all the required characteristics of their primary form.
Multiple hues for magic colors
Black/dark magic color with low contrast from base color
Black feathered wings
Broken/shattered halo
You can see the Angel gallery for examples.

Eyes, can be floating and/or numerous
They can have alternate forms that:
Must retain wings of light, halo(s), and color palette
Can be humanoid, abstract, creature-like, etc.
They can also have "disguise" forms without supernatural traits to appear as a mundane creature, or other shapeshifted forms that do not follow all the required characteristics of their primary form.

The term "human-shape" refers to a certain kind of alternate form that Entities can take. These forms are essentially the closest that an Entity can get to a human appearance while still being considered an alternate form—that is, none of their Entity characteristics are suppressed. These forms can thus be used for official submissions such as prompts.
Lore-wise, an Entity's human-shape may be about as comfortable as their main form, as opposed to human disguises and other forms that hide their Entity characteristics, which can be uncomfortable to stay in for long spans of time.
A human-shape generally has similar anatomy to a human, including human facial features, two legs and two arms, five fingers on each hand, etc. An Entity's appearance can be less human and still be considered an alternate form, but if they become more human in appearance then that form would be considered an "other form" and not a valid "alternate form" that can be used for official submissions.
All of the required, recommended, optional, and prohibited characteristics still apply, though there are a few points that are more flexible:
Skin color usually matches palette requirements but can have a greater range of shades while still being monochromatic.
Teeth can be white regardless of species.
These are not required, but are typical characteristics for human-shapes of Entities.
