The Ecliptic universe is a world of Light and Darkness, Angels and Demons, but also those in between - the Oscuraphim and Lumions. Light and Darkness are always in balance, and neither is inherently evil.
The Oscuraphim (singular: Oscuraph) and Lumions (singular: Lumion) are both closed species. They are beings who stand between Darkness and Light, they are both and neither.
Angels and Demons in this world are not biblically accurate whatsoever, but they do draw on existing themes. They are semi-open species in this world, and you may purchase a design (adopt or custom), make your own, or "import" an existing OC.
Angels, Demons, Oscuraphim, and Lumions are all referred to collectively as "Entities."

The Masterlist (ML) is a record of all official Entities. You can see the Masterlist in Google Sheets here as well.

If you wish to change the element or alignment of your Entity, please update the ML.
You can change the name and pronouns of your Entity at any time; updating the ML is optional.
You can also change your Entity's "draw permissions" to one of the following:
Allowed: anyone is allowed to draw your Entity without asking for permission first, in any situation they like.
Semi-Allowed: anyone is allowed to draw your Entity without asking for permission first for certain cases; they must ask for other situations. You can specify which of the following are allowed:
Solo: others can draw your Entity as gift art depicting only your Entity.
Prompts: others can use your Entity for any prompts.
Relations: others can draw your Entity with other characters your Entity has an established relation with.
Interactions: others can draw your Entity with any other characters.
Ask: others are required to ask before drawing your Entity.
Prohibited: others are not allowed to draw your Entity.
When drawing others' Entities, it is asked that you respect the Entity's lore—do not draw them in offensive, unpleasant, and/or out-of-character situations, and respect the owner's permissions and preferences.
If you wish to update these details, please send an update in Ecliptic ML Submissions of species-submissions in the Auspicium server, or to Auspice's DMs on Discord or Toyhou.se.

You may request to have an Ecliptic's previous form, alternate form(s), and/or human-shape officially registered. You may design it yourself or commission Auspice to design it or edit the ML artwork for it. Note the Design Guide.
Please upload the image to the Ecliptic's TH profile and link it in Ecliptic ML Submissions of species-submissions in the Auspicium server, or to Auspice's DMs on Discord or Toyhou.se.
If approved, Auspice will update the ML and request for the reference image to be added to the Angel or Demon subgallery if relevant.
Unofficial Entities
Unofficial Entities
You are welcome to lightly discuss potential Angel or Demon characters publicly while considering whether you want to import them and/or how they might fit in the world. For Oscuraphim and Lumions, you can very lightly discuss potential character concepts freely. For deeper public discussions and relations with others, please submit the form below.
You can have one unofficial Ecliptic at a time, and it must be the next official Ecliptic you acquire. Please submit this form to Ecliptic ML Submissions of species-submissions in the Auspicium server:

If you want, you can create a Toyhou.se profile for them with this template. Credit Auspice as the creator. Once you get them designed, you can add yourself (or other designer) as the designer.
Once this form is submitted and approved by Auspice:
Your unofficial Ecliptic will be logged in the Unofficial Ecliptic tab of the Ecliptic Masterlist.
You can freely discuss this Ecliptic in public, such as in the Discord. You can discuss lore ideas and relationships with other unofficial and official Entities.
Design Alterations
Design Alterations
Since Entities are energy beings capable of freely changing their form, it is asked that you limit alterations to the official design. You may update the ML image once a year per Entity, resetting on January 1 each year.
If you wish to update the ML image with minor edits such as minor additions/removals, changes in effects/textures, and color changes, you have two options:
You request Auspice to make the changes to the ML artwork. They will charge a fee depending on the change.
You can make the edits yourself, or ask someone else to make the edits. You may also revert to a previous version of ML artwork. There is no fee.
Auspice gives permission to make the aforementioned minor edits to ML artwork made by them. For ML artwork made by others such as with MYOs, take note of the original artist's permissions.
To send the request, please give link Toyhouse gallery links to the updated main and transparent/flat version in Ecliptic ML Submissions of species-submissions in the Auspicium server. It can be authorized only, as long as Auspice can see it. If you did not make the edits, credit the individual who made the edits.
Please keep the original images as well, potentially in an "outdated" tab, in case you or a new owner may wish to revert to an older design. These can be hidden.
You are welcome to draw them with various form alterations (such as different number of limbs, wings, adding eyes or mouths, etc.) and you can make shapeshifted forms for them; see Design Guide. You are free to make updated personal references as well.

Auspice's general terms of service apply.
As Oscuraphim and Lumions are closed species, you may not design your own unless there are MYO events or such. You may design your own Angels and Demons, however.
The Toyhouse profile of an Oscuraphim or Lumion is the "official" token of existence for the character, so do not delete the profile or any official reference images. You may, of course, edit the character profile and the fields as you see fit. If you alter the name, pronouns, or element proficiency, please let me know so that I can update the masterlist.
You may create non-commercial content of your characters in this world, including art, writing, videos, plushies, etc. However, please credit Auspice as the creator of the species for any work shared publicly/with others.
Commissions
Commissions
You may do commissions or commission others for work of your characters, but you may not sell physical merchandise without express permission from me. Any one-off physical goods for yourself are fine—if you are getting a print or merch that uses art not made by you, make sure to get the permission of the creator first.
Transfers
Transfers
You may gift, trade or resell an Oscuraph/Lumion for no more than the original price + commission/paid work. You must notify Auspice, and if you are transferring to someone not on TH, the character must be transferred back to Auspice. If you do not have a TH and are transferring to someone who does, please let Auspice know as well so that the character can be transferred to them.
Porting OCs

An Oscuraph/Lumion/Angel/Demon can be used as an "AU" (alternate universe) of an existing OC. However, they cannot be used as alternate forms / a shapeshift of an existing OC, as that would muddle the lore.
Voiding
Voiding
"Voiding" in this context refers to removing a character from the Ecliptic world so that it can be used freely in any other context.
You may void an imported, self-made, or otherwise externally designed Entity at any time you wish at no cost and no strings attached, just let Auspice know.
For an Oscuraph or Lumion, it would be appreciated if you adjust the design somewhat so that it is more distinct from the species.
You may void an Angel or Demon designed by Auspice for a one-time fee of 10 USD, and the character becomes locked to you, unable to be traded, gifted, or sold.
You may void an Oscuraph or Lumion designed by Auspice for a one-time fee of 20 USD, and the character becomes locked to you.
A few notes:
You may not create a new species that you intend to create additional designs/adopts from using a character designed by Auspice. However, they can be imported into a personal species.
You may use the design as a shapeshifted form of another OC.
Please try not to plagiarize the Ecliptic world lore.
So long as these terms are not violated, you may use a voided character as any species or in any world you wish, with entirely new lore.

Lore Inspiration and Plagiarism
In general, please try not to plagiarize the lore. While taking inspiration cannot realistically be stopped, it does make me (Auspice) uncomfortable if elements of the lore are taken directly. If people want to use my lore, I'd want them to join the world I put in the effort to make it for. I spend a considerable amount of time contemplating and organizing my lore for the sake of allowing others to participate in it, so I ask that you do so on my terms.

If you are the owner of a public species (CS, semi-open species, etc.), then you can contact Auspice about creating a hybrid species. We will need to discuss how their traits/characteristics can merge with each other and potentially create lore and design guidelines.
If an Ecliptic hybrid species is available, you can create one if you have a MYO slot from both species and permission from the species owner(s).
