All life there possesses ichor - a dark blue liquid - instead of blood, which absorbs the mysterious energy called "starlight" that radiates from the core of the planet. The dragonlike creatures known as "nulls" absorb the most starlight of them all, and may be the key to understanding the secrets of Archeiah.

Nēr Light (pronounced "near light") is a story first conceived in July 2019, based on a dream I had. It is set many years in the future, in an age where humans have made leaps of advancements in all sorts of technology, including biotechnology, brain-computer interfacing, and of course, space travel.
A private company known as Celeis (suh-LAY-iss) is researching the alien planet Archeiah, filled with lifeforms that bend existing notions of science.
